zachód słońca
świt na akwareli
coraz czerwieńszy

sundown
a dawn on the water-color
redder and redder

zachód słońca
świt na akwareli
coraz bledszy

sundown
a dawn on the water-color
paler and paler

koniec podróży –

coraz grubszy notes

coraz mniej w nim imion

---

journey's end –

more and more thicker address book

less and less names in it

(trans. Lech Szeglowski)

barwny tłum
w ciszy niemyśli o jutrze
gwar jarmarcznych straganów

nigdzie ni śladu
człowieka

---
colorful crowd
in the silence of not-thoughts on tomorrow
a chatter of fair stalls

nowhere not a trace
of the man

(transl. Lech Szeglowski)

twoje spojrzenie —

w chłodnym powiewie wiatru

płatki wiśni

---

your look —

at the cool blow of wind

cherry petals

popołudniowa kawa

więcej bieli

afternoon coffee
with every nip
more white

spadający liść...

na parkowej ławce przysiadła

cisza

---

falling leaf...
on the park bench settled down
the silence

(transl. Lech Szeglowski)

ciemną nocą zapytał

czy dla niego przejdę
przez igielne ucho

zza uchylonych drzwi
wahadło Boga

at dark night

he asked if I will go through
the eye of a needle

from behind the door ajar

the pendulum of God
